Back to nature...

A morning walk through Shannon Lake park revealed some delightful treasures last Saturday...baby ducklings out for a swim, a painted turtle swimming in the reeds, counting little fish visiting near the shoreline, as well as a magestic Eagle fishing overhead. Each of these encounters felt like a gift, a reward for slowing down and taking the time to get out there.
Closer to home, we have had other creatures moving in to our backyard...baby birds and caterpillars who are now at the chrysalis stage of transformation. Oh the wonders of spring!

Learning about simple circuits + simple machines = 2 happy little boys!

Goofy Birthday Girl

Once there was a little girl who was turning 4 years old.
She loved to have fun, so she had a very silly party!

We love you Olivia!

Hangin' with the MaCrazies!

Our house was full of love and laughter...and drywall dust the weekend Lee and Elizabeth and kiddies came to help finish off the stairwell.
We celebrated a couple of early birthdays: Lee and Olivia turned 436 or so.
So, between the two of us, Elizabeth and I have kids aged 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. Can you spot which ones are which?

Mobiles

The sewing machine at work again, this time to make mobiles.

Sim's rocket mobile contains a whole adventure: robots and aliens journeying from spaceship to planet, in a very distinct order.
