I love this picture of Olivia because it reminds me of one that I have seen in my parent's albums of me at this age. Lots of delicious chubs and a huge teethy grin! Sometimes I see so much of me in her, then other times it's all Owen, except her eyes which will always be mine. She is quickly leaving the baby stages behind, our Little Miss Independent!

This year I have had the chance to live out a dream of mine to dance again. After many years off, I decided this past year to take an adult ballet class at Creator's Arts Centre, a Christian dance company in town. Our year end performance was the other weekend, a celebration of creation, and my class danced like the wind (as we were the wind...) I felt so much joy through being involved in something bigger again. I felt God's pleasure as I was doing was He's created me to!

Our Anniversary (Part 1)

Owen and I managed to steal away for an afternoon to contemplate/celebrate our 7th year of marriage the other weekend. We enjoyed treats from one of our fav bakeries in Peachland, Bliss, and found a lonely dock waiting for us to enjoy! Part 2 happens next weekend when we are going away for a night to a B&B in Summerland, and G&G Walker take on the grandkiddies. Yeah!
