Yes, these are fall pics and we are now in 2011, but we are a little slow here lately...a certain bump #5 is slowing me down. You may not have known, but today was the official day to wear your pyjama pants on your head, eat pizza and be silly night. So sorry if you missed it. It will come around soon I am sure.

Back to nature...

A morning walk through Shannon Lake park revealed some delightful treasures last Saturday...baby ducklings out for a swim, a painted turtle swimming in the reeds, counting little fish visiting near the shoreline, as well as a magestic Eagle fishing overhead. Each of these encounters felt like a gift, a reward for slowing down and taking the time to get out there.

Closer to home, we have had other creatures moving in to our backyard...baby birds and caterpillars who are now at the chrysalis stage of transformation. Oh the wonders of spring!
